Jenesis Forge is built for writers who think in episodes, scenes, and moments of impact. The goal is simple: give you a studio that feels as fast as your ideas, without fighting the format.
Why it feels faster
Instead of treating your script like a big, flat document, Jenesis Forge is aware of structure: episodes, sequences, scenes, and beats. As you type, it guides you from Scene → Action → Character → Dialogue so you’re always in the right mode without clicking a bunch of menus.
- Clear hierarchy: Episodes and sections stay visible, so you never feel lost.
- Automatic formatting: Scene slugs, character names, and dialogue flow naturally.
- Minimal friction: Less time fixing margins, more time telling the story.
60-second quickstart
Here’s the fastest way to try the studio:
- Open the Editor from the main navigation.
- Create a new script or paste in a scene you’ve already written.
- Use the left rail to set your episode/sequence labels.
- Start typing a scene line:
INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - NIGHTand hit enter. - Keep writing — the editor will automatically move you through Action → Character → Dialogue.
Keyboard cheats
You don’t have to remember everything, but a few shortcuts make the studio feel magic:
- Tab / Shift+Tab: Nudge a block deeper or shallower in the structure.
- ⌘+Enter (Ctrl+Enter on PC): Insert a scene break.
- ⌘+S: Save your project state as you go.
What’s next
This first version is all about giving you a clean, fast writing experience. From here, the roadmap includes:
- Episode-aware analytics (page counts, character balance, etc.).
- Import/export bridges for Final Draft and other tools.
- Devotional and faith-centered story templates for your unique voice.
If you’re here early, you’re part of the foundation. Your feedback and ideas will help shape what Jenesis Forge becomes.
